Creative
Rooted in the landscape of Britain and the temporal cycles of nature, my flowers celebrate the ephemeral, fleeting beauty of the natural world. I have always been inspired and informed by what I can see in the fields, hedgerows and wild spaces around me, as these flowers create the most harmonious compositions. To me flowers create music. They silently dance across a table or in a vase. They bring life and energy to a room, rhythm and movement.
Consultancy
I offer consultancy both for florists and for brands who work closely with florists to ensure you are leading the way in your ethical and ecological floristry standards. Flowers are always the finishing touch and my consultancy packages are intended to provide the finishing touch to your corporate social responsibility model, supporting the integrity of your sustainability credentials and ensuring you have a truly 360 approach.
Campaigning
After cofounding SSAW Collective in 2020 and being joined in the fields by my mum Kathryn in 2022, I am now focusing more time and energy campaigning for positive change in the global floriculture industry, as a member of the Steering Group for Flowers from the Farm (the trade association for flower farmers in the UK) and part of the working group for Coventry University’s Sustainable Cut Flowers Project.
Charity
In 2016 I found a way to use floristry as a tool for social good co founding Bread & Roses, pioneering in the use of floriculture therapy, harnessing the therapeutic benefits of working with flowers to provide a space for women from refugee backgrounds to gain confidence and form support networks, enabling them to better navigate the challenges of building a new home in the UK.
